Tabletop Magazine

Tabletop Magazine is a conceptual design that would feature gaming content on a specific theme each month, with this month's example on social deception games. The dimensions are 5.5" x 7.5" with each spread measuring 11" x 7.5".

The cover of the magazine. The font and format would stay the same for each edition while the main colors would shift depending on the theme. The use of the line running along the page is repeated in various sections of the magazine.

The table of contents. It uses the same theme as the cover.

The title page of the first article. It uses black and white throughout, with red only used as points of emphasis. The main font of the title mimics the font used on the Mafia game which ties into the article's topic.

One of the spreads of the first article. Rather than containing the numbered list within the paragraphs, I broke them into more visually interesting and identifiable sections.

One of the spreads of the first article. The image on the left page is contains information mentioned in the article in the style of a murder board, fitting within the article style.

The title page of the second article. As this article discusses the game Among Us, the title text uses a similar look and feel to the text used in the game.

One of the spreads of the second article. The finger pointing interrupts the text of the page to create visual interest for the reader.

The title page of the third article. The style of this article mimics the game it is discussing, using a similar font and color scheme.

The title page of the game suggestions, which follows the magazine theme. Each suggestion only taking up one page.

One of the spreads of the game suggestions. The titles and text of each suggestion is laid out differently, depending on length, but each still use the same line motif.

The credits page uses the same theme as the table of contents, only with the design flipped to the opposite side.
